Garden Party Fundraiser

It’s time for a shameless plug! Next Sunday, July 21, from 4-6 pm, my garden is the venue for a Garden Party Fundraiser for Chatham Conservation Foundation. If you’re a member or are on their mailing list, you’ve probably gotten the invitation already, but if not, you are definitely invited. There will be a garden map and plant lists for you to wander around and enjoy the garden, light refreshments and beverages, and a couple of short speeches.

There are still tickets available ($100 per person) here, and it would be fantastic to see you there and to get your support for conservation.

In addition, there is a silent auction, which is already open for bidding, with two items: a garden consultation by my, and a tree consultation by arborist Craig Schneeberger. You can bid here.

The garden is looking quite lovely this year – with a mild winter and plenty of rain, everything is growing vigorously. Hope you can make it!

The meadow, yesterday. In bloom are the light purple bee balm (Monarda fistulosa), white slender mountain mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium( and orange butterflyweed (Asclepias tuberosa).
